Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Shaz51

I grew up in Cairns from age 10-18 so nth qld is kinda home for me.

Ive been away from nth for many many yrs tho

Its nice to b back tho & to c so many more people from sth have moved here.

Its made it a better place i feel.

Locals possibly dont agree however i can c a great improvement here.

People r quite happy here compared to in the sth & get this ive moved to many places & lived overseas but so many people have said welcome since ive been here. Never had that in my entire life!!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

So @Adge, what's the most unusual veggies you've tried? I love lotus root.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Shaz51, I forgot goat. 🙂 That's tasty when cooked right.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I have not been experimental with food for many years @Smc

It's a daily challenge, just to eat enough.

Fatigue shuts my apetite down.

Being very slim & having chronic health conditions, I need to make myself eat - even when I can't be bothered.

Artichokes are yummy, yet that's not very strange or unusual.

Greek Vine Leaves, stuffed with rice - that's delicious too, although probably not unusual.

Yams? I think I had them about 35 or 40 years ago....
