Don't know about Mr Darcy, comments about improvement might have been premature.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Good morning my very dear up and downers.
Reminded this week just how valuable our input into the lives of the ones we love is.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Morning @Former-Member .... 😊💕 .... and anyone else who's around ....

S2's apt today with WH at the pdoc ... need to not get my hopes up too high.  Even if this does result in  a diagnosis for WH somehow, I doubt it will happen quickly, and S2 is in denial that his dad's behaviour is affecting him ... he has internalised his feelings into self-blame, and all I can do is hope that the pdoc can work out what is going on behind the scenes.

This is all new territory for me.  I can't ascertain whether this is false hope, while S2 will now shield his dad's behaviour from view too, not wanting to be part of "his story" .....

Such a mess ..... so complicated ....
