Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Good morning @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Determined et all
Don't want to get excited prematurely (as we all know things can change) but early indications are that med tweakage appears to be helping....

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Great news @Former-Member. Bet you're looking forward to calmer times.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@soul I was worried Mr Darcy was headed for psychotic depression which has not gone so well on previous occasions.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @Former-Member

I could have GERD , I have had just reflux for a very long time , no doctor has ever had a look down my throat until now , as the meds that i have been on for the last 20 years don`t seem to work anymore

the doctor has tryed to get me to go off the meds but i can only last a day before i have all the bad sympons , so instead of just changing the meds , she wants to have a closer look which is good in one way

I have stopped eating yoghurt and a few other foods as they make me feel yuk after eating

have my fingers crossed for mr @Former-Member xx, did they say how long it might see any

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Shaz51 Can take a month to 6 weeks but no guarantee it will help.
Dr Gurgle is always helpful about what foods to avoid with particular disorders, I'm sure you have already consulted him.
