@Jacques sounds like a great show. The first that comes to mind is where is his (ex) girlfriend - does he end up meeting her again?... I should probably just watch the show.
Seems like we're group of cats - a pride of lions perhaps who are pretty idependent but affection once we get to know each other. I'm also a leo @Mazarita, what's everyone else?
@chookmojo is that chicken kiev? Did you make that? Looks yummo.

sorry @CherryBomb she is murdered and raped, the police do find the real purpetrators, it is a fantastic show of how crime impacts families and comunities. really powerful stuff. i can identify with a lot of how he deals with time and struggles with the outside world.

Well I buy the Kiev's premade from the butcher, then I bake it in the oven. Hubby likes it with apple sauce and vegies. Personally I having vegan pastries for dinner. I'm not vegan but I haven't been able to eat chicken since the fox did!

@Jacques Rectify sounds like a moving and powerful story. The character who has to deal with the struggles of the outside world - does he at time wish he could go back to prison? I ask because I've heard that sometimes people who have been incacerated for a lengthy amount of time start to feel safer like its safer in there than the outside world. Gees 20 years of lock-up, does he reconnect with friends and family?

It is the best TV show i have ever seen, it has won a heap of awards, the main character is fantastic, i have never seen an actor like him before, the melancholy life he leads must be so hard to act.
He really struggles with being out and sometimes wishes to be in the safty of his cell, the show has flash backs often of his time in solitary confinement.
He reconnects with his family but it is very complicated, some are pleased, some are not, just like real life i suppose, i find the tv show makes me stop and think.

Hi everybody
Love that tiramisu @Mazarita
I liked @CherryBomb's dog video (cos once I loved a beautiful lab called Blondie), til it got to the cat bit. I always hate the competition between dog and cat lovers ... doggy people accuse us catty people of being stuck up and unaffectionate so often they have pooped their nest with me .. sorry @CherryBomb now I like plants just as much as animals .. I like watching how they twist and grow to the light .. kissing that sunshine.
@Bill16 Tell us about the fencing or whatever you been up to ... I am a city slicker and like hearing things about country life.
Great you are getting more chooks@chookmojo ... you cant lost that mojo ...
@PeppiPatty I just cant believe how atrocious my typos are .. oh well .. just relaxing a bit is probably good ... we dont have to be perfect.
@Jacques My son and I are up to watching Season 5 of Breaking Bad ... but he is breaking it up with a few Community sitcoms which are lighter so we dont get too depressed by the descent of Walt .. We liked him at the beginning ... feeling more sympathy for Jessie atm .. havent seen Rectify ...oh well
@Crazy_Bug_Lady So glad to see you ... I was shocked by what some of your workmates have said to you on the stigma thread .. it actually is other people's problems that they can be so callous, unfortunately if we are more sensitive we wear it ... I am working on flicking back any negativity directed at me ... its hard with the passive aggressive bit not to overact ... but gotta learn not to be a pushover.
Enjoying seeing you all
