Thats really good @TAB regarding RSL. Things are looking up for you a bit. I'm just back from the town center after getting my diabetes med sorted from chemist. Have to go to the GP this afternoon to get BP med as I can't do phone appointments since not being back at the clinic in over a year. I would usually book online for phone consult to get scripts but the system wouldn't allow me to book so have to go in there. Will have to get bloodwork done soon as its way overdue

good luck @SmilingGecko am down to last 4 blood thinner tablets and dont want to go to chemist as they will carry on like clowns as they did last time
if they do that again, I will say, funny you are sticklers for getting scripts a few days b4 run out, what if I forget on the day or cant get to a chemist , do you ring and remind me, or send some to my door ? so dont pretend you care ... ffs ..
yeah last few times had really bad person doing bloods they struggled, blamed my veins of course, but you can tell if they are hopeless before they come near you as start making excuses b4 even see veins, then no real attempt to find or get a vein up as they never understood what they were doing then blame me .. yay

Thats unusual @TAB. If I have more than a week they will kick up a fuss and not do the script but a few days is a little bit rough. You could ring them before you go in to ask and remember who you spoke to in case they cause problems when you go in.
My veins are deep and it has almost been impossible to do a blood draw. I've noticed technicians and nurses have all kinds of methods but once I was butchered by an incompetant ED nurse. They really need technicians to do it as its highly specialised. They get higher scores on their training than nurses or doctors evidently. But these technicians really know their stuff. I just go along with their methods for drawing blood, sometimes its funny every person has their own unique way but its not uncommon for me to have so many sites done in my elbows and top of the hands just to do one successful blood draw.
