Not doing well

I'm brand new here. I'm having a bad day but for no reason. I have a new job I like, good money, 100% supportive husband and yet every day is a struggle and I'm so tired of it. I just don't want to have to struggle every day. It's always the same 'nothing's'.

Re: Not doing well

hi @Dazed
im your having a bad day. sometimes there doesnt really need to be a reason it just happens. Do you think you would be able to speak to your gp about how youve been feeling? They can perform a mental health test and refer you to appropriate resources and check in on your physical health to see if theres any underlying conditions such as a thyroid issue (this is an example of course) it too.

Re: Not doing well

My health isn't great but I have a gp and specialists working with me so it's all about as under control as it can be.

I find it very difficult to muster the strength, determination and motivation to be OK.

Re: Not doing well

hi @Dazed
im glad you have your gp and specialists working with you. Do you think the struggles with your physical health may be contributing to how your feeling? As someone who also has to manage a not so great health i find it affects me mentally as well.
Does your gp know how youve been feeling mentally? youve used some good desriptions such as your last sentence 'i find it very difficult to muster the strength, determination and motivation to be OK' and if your unsure of where to start that may be a good place.

Also if you would like to tag me so that i recieve a notification just put an @ and names will appear in a drop down box, just click on the name and itll tag for you. if your using the quick reply box youll have to type @ then type the members name manuelly (no spaces between the members name and the @) Also your welcome to have a look around and see where you might like to join in as well.

ill just tag in some other members as well who may be able to relate

Re: Not doing well

Hi @Dazed 👋🏻

I don’t have many words of wisdom but I get how it feels to feel like there is no end point and nothing feels right or good. Some days are sooooo long to get through when it’s a hard day. Just surviving feels like a mammoth effort.

Hoping you find some support and others that get the way the way you are feeling from the forum. Welcome 😊💜
