Yes @Cuddlebear It's been just over a week since he went over the rainbow bridge and I miis him like mad. His "sister" died in 2023 so I have no pets currently and it's a very empty house.
Maybe with my next dog I'll train them so we can visit hospitals, nursing homes etc, now that I am retired

@Glisten awwww flattery gets you everywhere, well with most people, I feel awkward when I'm praised or flattered. But thankyou nonetheless.

@Till23Dogs are so clever and provide unconditional love and they are such good company. I lost my first seeing guide dog last December. It has been a very painful journey and big hugs to you my friend. I think when you are ready for a new fur baby training them up to be a therapy dog is an awesome idea. It’s really worth the training effort big time. I’m really very lucky to have been able to access a new seeing guide dog. Everyone is different but my dog is my literal family and he has given me the most beautiful gift of life and independence. Without him I’d have no freedom and would be unsafe outside and stuck at home 24/7.
I’m gonna head off to bed as I have Covid and I’m buggered already. Thankyou everyone for the chats tonight it has really lifted my spirits.
