Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

Same here @TAB, I dare not drive because I have a habit of paying so much attention to driving conditions, driving safe and not crashing... that I miss speed signs :face_with_rolling_eyes: Gets expensive 😞 but I am overdue to visit dad. Not that he recognises me anymore... my whole family is a one-way street so I'm not feeling guilty anymore.
My neighbours just got back from a European Chanel Cruise (thought they were gone for a while) I'd love to to that if I had company

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB, I'm not allowed to say exactly, but the house I sold was 2hrs west SW Brisbane. I spent 18months at my parents house after moving in while mum was dying from cancer and being carer for dad who had dementia... got him into an affordable but homely nursing home near family and friends, then moved here to central west NSW. I like feeling free to pack up and move so that's why I'm doing out my van, but just grabbed this 2BR rental to rest and recover a year from mum and dad and sibling drama's (including stupid bickering over fears of losing their inheritance from dads estate because I was there... really hurt because dad needed a carer and there was no telling them that's the only reason I was there. Thankfully I got it all out into management of public trustee - not optional but under the circumstances (serious MI, verbal abuse, sabatage, drug abuse, gambling, begging, theft, threats... it became unworkable for me) so I got dad into a nursing home and involve NCAT = Trustee). Dad has round the clock care and the siblings can't gamble away the money. My sister wanted ALL control, went fore SOLE Guardianship, SOLE financial management... (without telling me, even while I was live in carer for dad) but NCAT could see through that. I'm shattered how easily they can discard family members (me) for their own agenda. Anyway, hopefully it's over now. Trustee will pay from dad's estate all expenses involved in selling his house for the 'lawful' 400k bond required. Oops, sorry, i went on a bit... That's why I ran out to the country, because I was on the edge of cracking and made it to shelter to take a breath. Signed a 12/13 lease and working on recovery. Its Beautiful in this country town, hills all round. Thanks for asking 🌷🦉

Re: Good Morning!

@Meowmy  Hey Meowmy hope you are feeling better today. Dont like to see my friend Meowmy upset. Have you managed to go for a walk today before the rain set in?xx

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Former-Member  Its house hunting time for me! My housemate and sister won’t get listed on any tenancy databases as the agent can’t take out the possession order until the 30 days are up. She then has to spend money- over $100 to purchase the order and then get the police to actually serve it which could take several days. Even then she can’t list them if they have paid up the rent. Definition- good luck

Re: Good Morning!

@Bunniekins Hey little pea, thanks for kind message. I went for a long walk. At the end, got anxious. Suddenly all the thoughts of sad past events set in. I went for a nap. Now feeling better. Hope you have a nice weekend. I am now having second coffee and watch tv. Hope the day turns peaceful and nice for us all . Take care.
