I’m feeling very anxious and nervous as my housemate and I have to go to VCAT to get to attempt to have the  possession order that our agent took out on is reheard and to stop us from being evicted due to allegations of unpaid rent - not true as the agent has made up figures and dates which we have evidence for to prove when we paid and how much. I’m really scared of what will happen because I’m frightened that the VCAT member will believe her (estate agent) over us and the possession order will stand, despite her lying on oath in court. Anyway, fingers crossed our lawyer can get the order overturned and we’re safe. I know that financially we’re ahead on our rent but it’s a 2 step process in that we have to convince the member to hear the case and then listen to us.
