@Gazza75 Most places use the DMC numbers for diamond painting drills. The discount shops and the diamond dotz brand use their own however

Good to hear you're enjoying uni @Judi9877 , though I can see how it would be stressful at times. I had a look at the Starry Night crochet pattern. Beautiful 😍
Just dropping off Sophie as she is at the moment (and as I put her down to do annoying things like housework 😏😉).
I'm happy with the way it's working up and really enjoying making it 🙂

Thanks @CheerBear @Gazza75 @cutiepiekitty @Judi9877 @Maggie @Zoe7 @outlander @BlueBay
Yes I was quite happy with my tree frog. It measures 27x37cm, so is a reasonable size. Lots of work in it and it took a while to do. As @Gazza75 said, it does have a lot of colours in it ... from memory there are 26 or 28 different coloured diamonds. It was a great sense of satisfaction placing my final few beads into place, and hearing that little click as they slot in. Actually yes @CheerBear , I have framed it already and put it on my wall. It looks pretty good.
I finished Green Frog in the middle of last week, and have been feeling a little lost and at a loose end since then. I have ordered a couple more kits online a couple of days ago, but they wont be here for another couple of weeks.
@CheerBear ... I love your Sophie, and @Maggie your rocks are always amazing. @cutiepiekitty your vintage sewing machine, your latest project, looks like it will be challenging, but well worth it.
My next two projects (on order) will be for Christmas gifts ... one for my Dad and one for my Brother and SIL.
This one for my Dad, who has been a big Marilyn Monro fan all his life:
And this one for my brother and his wife:
Both of these are 20x30cm and both will be using square drills. I think they will both be quite difficult, but thats okay. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
Carry on crafting folks ...........

@Gazza75 – Hi, how are you? I hope you are well. Again I apologize for my delayed reply I am somewhat hopeless of late as my mind is elsewhere.
Thank you for tagging me in your art! I think you are doing a fabulous job and I am sure the others would agree. It doesn’t matter if you are good or not the fact that you are trying is an achievement in itself. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your kind words. My partner arrives home tomorrow. It has been a very tough few weeks and my grandmother who raised me is also in hospital. I was reprimanded at work for what I mentioned a few weeks back to you. Fortunately I had a union lawyer present who was able to attend. He said I was cross-examined as if he was in a courtroom. They have stated I have breached code of conduct, instructed my colleagues not to provide support to that and also me when I go and get a coffee I am having secret meetings, oh and as I financially couldn’t take unpaid leave from work that I was not being support to my partner or my grandmother.
I tell you all my years in government and working in a high profile sector have I ever experienced anything like this. I am hunting down new jobs like anything. It’s been a crappy year.
Please do not think that you don’t have people. You have definitely helped me and I am sure others on the forums. I find it really comforting to be able to write down how I feel on here knowing there is no judgment and discrimination.
I am glad that you saw your brother. I hope that he is doing okay and it’s really good to read that he has come a long way. He is lucky to have you and your support.
