I made one similar to yours years ago. In blue and white wool. 

I threw it out in a big clean up. Ugh. Regret it now. Took me ages to crochet it.

has anyone made a starburst granny square before? I watched a youtube clip and looks quite hard but has a nice effect. Was wondering if anyones done any projects with this type before?

and how do you guys pick colour combinations? i need 4 different colours

@cutiepiekitty@Shaz51and others, heres the start of my DP frog. Quite a bit of 'white' / light which is just a trick of the camera. Think I will frame this one when its completed. 🙂

Thanks @Shaz51 Have started a nativity now. We have the local show in a couple weeks. May try to get organised to put something in, have to get the craft group display up too.
