Sadly no crafting happening here. I'm in the land of 'Don't Deserve To Do That Until I've Finished Chores And Home Projects That I'm Procratinating On So I'm Actually Not Achieving Anything'. I'll have to take a trip away from this particular land when I find a working vehicle.

@CheerBear I love your Sophie’s universe. I can’t believe you frogged the first one- I really liked it! The second one is also great! Maybe I’ll have to work on my skills to build up to this!
@Gazza75 the diamond dots paintings are going really well. I love owls and want to cross stitch one but haven’t really found a design I like. I did find out though, that you can actually do cross stitch patterns from diamond dots paintings as the diamond dots colours are actually DMC thread cotton colours. Bizarre yet interesting huh? Maybe I might have to explore this option in future?!
I finished off the first strip of my blanket earlier today which I’ve decided that I’m going to keep for myself. I’ve got to make 9 strips which is 20cm wide and 180cm long - I want to make a double bed blanket. I’m using 4mm knitting needles and 40 stitches using garter stitch which means I don’t have to focus - I just change the colours whenever I feel like it and use a measuring tape to keep an eye on the length. I’m calling it a ‘Crazy Blanket’ as the colour choices and yarn is so random with no real thought put into it but at least it will be unique as no one will have one like it as it’s all mine. See below for the photo! I’ve got another 3 strips on the go in various lengths as I tend to forget that I’ve started one and then start another - weird huh? At least I’ll get there eventually. After that, it’s sewing them up and going from there. I may or may not put a border around the blanket. The blanket strip is curled in a circle as I had trouble loading it on here as a photo in 1 big long strip! I hope you like it!
Okay. Time to go and do some uni study. I’ll try and pop back in later to see how everyone is going. Have fun crafting and creating whatever you may be up to😊
