Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Not too bad. My Mum's birthday was on Monday, and she had a few visitors as well as me in during the day. The aged care home staff trimmed up the table a little bit for her birthday lunchtime, and I took in a bought cake.
Spent some good time talking with my Dad too. Despite his dementia, if you get onto familiar ground with him, he can hold his own, But it's sad seeing him and Mum drift apart a bit. Mum's not so good at knowing how to talk with him. She seems more comfortable when he's not around, and I think he knows it. 😞

@Smc My father was in aged care just a couple of minutes up the road from where I was living for 18 months before he passed away. My mother went to visit him twice during that time. She had medical problems of her own but moved to a retirement village. They were pretty much estranged beforehand even though they had lived in the same house prior to these arrangements. 

My Dad suffered from dementia but still had his long term memory in tact. He was his nicest during that year and a half and I wish that I had been able to have more time with him.

My Dad's pretty sweet. I'm going to miss him when he's gone. And being 400 k's away more time is a bit hard.

Still miss my dad

It would have been his 70th birthday last week. 

Something else to 😭 about last week 😢

First day of winter and it's cool outside. Down to single digit minimum. Have to walk more quickly. If only poochy didn't have to stop and sniff so much.

Looking a bit frosty outside here. Hate winter. 

Will need to do somthing with the poor dog. Stupid thing wont use its kennel, can't come in the because it messes everywhere. Need to find somewhere to tie it up where it is a bit warmer for a bed.

Dog 2 with mum because it was on heat, its going to get a shock when it comes home and becomes an outside dog again lol. She's a bigger grot than the boy. Cant believe mum lets it in her house.
